Ramesh works as a senior consultant on communications and media. He has over 15 years of experience in print media. He was former editor of Rivira newspaper, and has worked in the capacity of news editor, and a senior journalist in his years in the field of journalism. Ramesh focuses on communicating impacts on the ground due to climate change and the need for resilience building through SLYCAN Trust’s initiative climate stories which is a trilingual communication platform for information on climate change, environment and sustainable development. He is also the editor of Meatless Monday Sri Lanka. He focuses on linking policy to action, and communication. Ramesh has a BA from University of Jayawardenapura, and an MA in communication from University of Jayawardenapura.
