EthicalX: Climate & Innovation Hub is a SLYCAN Trust initiative dedicated to supporting ethical, sustainable, and climate-friendly entrepreneurship and innovative business solutions. EthicalX works to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem by enhancing understanding, building capacities, providing technical support, and co-creating business models and partnerships that generate positive environmental, social, and economic impact, with particular emphasis on empowering women, youth, and vulnerable communities.

This EthicalX Entrepreneurship Gathering brings together former cohort members, aspiring entrepreneurs, and ecosystem partners to strengthen connections, exchange knowledge, and identify opportunities for collaboration around ethical and sustainable business in Sri Lanka. The event also marks the official launch of the call for the EthicalX 2026–2027 cohort, inviting a new generation of entrepreneurs committed to driving ethical, climate-conscious, and inclusive innovation.

Combining informal networking with a curated conversation, the gathering will feature founder reflections from entrepreneurs working across sustainable food systems and sustainable fashion, followed by participant-led dialogue on balancing purpose with commercial viability, envisioning a resilient future for Sri Lanka's food and fashion sectors, and identifying the collaboration and support needed to strengthen the country's sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystem. Through this dialogue, EthicalX seeks to showcase innovative local businesses, foster cross-sector partnerships, and advance ethical, climate-resilient models of enterprise as drivers of inclusive economic growth in Sri Lanka.
