Entrepreneurship plays a key role in economic empowerment and building long-term resilience through enhanced risk management. To support ethical, sustainable, and climate-friendly entrepreneurship in Sri Lanka and beyond, SLYCAN Trust and EthicalX: Climate & Innovation Hub are launching their partnership with CLIMAFUGE – an innovative investment and inclusive partnership model to promote ethical and climate-friendly business practices. The collaborative business model aims to support ethical, sustainable, and climate-friendly entrepreneurship with a special focus on the fashion/lifestyle, food systems, tourism, and waste management sectors. Building on the work of SLYCAN Trust and EthicalX, it is structured to address key gaps and needs in transforming enterprises towards being more ethical, sustainable, and climate-friendly. The tripartite partnership also prioritises capacity-building and supports youth, women, and vulnerable communities through inclusive and gender-responsive practices that contribute to long-term and sustained resilience.

• To engage and contribute to the work of key stakeholders and cohort members of EthicalX in the fashion/lifestyle, food systems, tourism, and waste management sectors 
• To introduce and launch the initial CLIMAFUGE partners and promote ethical, sustainable, and climate-friendly entrepreneurship 
• To provide an introduction and process of engagement with the tripartite business model built on the partnership between SLYCAN Trust, EthicalX: Climate & Innovation Hub, and CLIMAFUGE
