Sani Ayouba

SLYCAN Trust Niger

Sani Ayouba is co-coordinator of SLYCAN Trust in Niger. He has over a decade of experience in working on issues related to climate change, sustainable development and youth engagement at national and international level. He co-founded JVE Niger in 2009, where he holds the post of executive director and contributes to local and national level climate action. Sani focuses on work related to climate change adaptation and resilience building; huma mobility; youth and stakeholder engagement; and entrepreneurship at SLYCAN Trust, with a focus on Niger and Francophone Africa and climate change negotiations. His education is focused on project management and organizational communication and holds a certificate in environmental leadership and another in public policy analysis from the University of Berkeley (California, USA).
